Weather and Tournament Policies

Please be aware that the ASHRAE Gold Coast Chapter Golf Tournament, scheduled for October 21nd, 2026, at Parkland Golf and Country Club, will proceed as planned unless severe weather conditions, such as heavy rain, lightning, or high winds, pose a risk to player safety. The Golf Committee, in coordination with the Parkland Golf and Country Club Pro Shop, will have the sole authority to determine whether it is safe to proceed. The Golf Committee reserves the right to make adjustments to the tournament schedule or format at any time in the interest of safety and fairness.

No Refund Policy

As this is a charity event, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. The proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit ASHRAE Research Promotion and the ASHRAE Gold Coast Chapter. Funds raised are vital to supporting initiatives and programs that advance our industry.

Additionally, many costs, including course fees, catering, and event preparations, have already been committed to ensure the original scheduled day can proceed smoothly. These costs are incurred regardless of weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Your generous contribution will still support these causes, even if changes must be made to the event.
